This workday was mainly about preparing the car for it's major service once the required parts have been delivered. We also took the opportunity to give the engine bay a much needed clean.

Firstly, the bonnet was removed in order to give better access to the engine bay for cleaning and servicing.

The air box and exhaust manifold heat shield were removed and front wing cleaned.

The removed exhaust manifold was cleaned up using a dremel and then hand polished.

Finally, the front bumper and sidelight/indicators were removed to give better access to the radiator area in preparation for removing the air conditioning system. We also plan to respray the bumper as the paintwork is badly cracked and peeling.
